Capibaribe or Caapiuar-y-be or Capibara-ybe (or ipe), comes from the Tupi language meaning river of the capybara, or wild pigs.

Located in the North of Brazil, the Amazon River is the longest in the world. Until 2007, it was believed that it was second, behind the Nile River.
